Kvader MT d.o.o. is a company continuing the family tradition of sheet metal production since 1978. The company specializes in small and medium series production of sheet metal products and semi-finished products made of mild steel, stainless steel and other non-ferrous metals. Company also offers laser cutting, punching and bending services on the most modern machines.
Features
With the increase in production and the need to optimize storage space, Kvader decided to implement the TwinTower automated storage system for storing 3000 x 1500 mm metal sheets. Automated storage system is equipped with 87 movable shelves with a load capacity of 3000 kg each, which allows storing more than 261 tons of metal sheets with quick and easy access. The system was supplied together with Baumalog control software. The implementation of TwinTower storage, apart from significant space savings, translated into shorter picking times and increased work safety.
Baumalog systems are designed in a modular way which allows for flexibility depending on the present and future needs of the customer – the system can be adapted to the available space and gradually extended as the company grows. Kvader, after 4 years of implementing TwinTower, decided to enlarge the storage and upgrade the automated storage system to TrnasferTower.
