The INSTAL-FILTER company mainly deals with heavy industry equipment, primarily for dust removal and neutralizing compounds that get directly into the atmosphere. Company decided to automate and optimize the storage process of long elements and metal sheets used in production processes.
Features
For storing long items, Baumalog has supplied the TwinTower® automated storage system with a shelf length of over 12 meters and two different shelf usable heights – 210 mm and 420 mm, allowing to store a diverse range of materials. The TwinTower® rack has 35 shelves with a load capacity of 3 tons and is able to hold 105 tons of items that are easily and quickly accessible to the operator. Loading and unloading profile beams is done by a crane.
The second automated storage system provided by Baumalog is MonoTower®, which is use as a warehouse for 4 m x 2 m metal sheets. The MonoTower® system consists of one storage column where the material shelfs are located, and another containing a lift transporting the sheet metal between the storage column and the loading and unloading place. A MonoTower® rack with 36 shelves with load capacity of 3 tons is able to hold 108 tons of materials. In the future, the system can be expanded with another storage column.
