Perfopol is the biggest Polish manufacturer of perforated metal sheets and meshes. Many years of experience makes the company modern with extensive technical facilities, which allows for continuous expansion of the product offer. The company mainly deals with the production of perforated sheets, all kinds of mesh, steel structures and a comprehensive and professional metalworking (CNC).
Features
Perfopol processes 6,000 x 2,000 mm sheets, the storage of which was decided to be optimized and for this purpose the MonoTower automated storage systems was implemented. The system consists of one storage column and an extraktor that transports 17 movable shelves with a capacity of 5 tonnes each, making it possible to store 85 tonnes of metal sheets. The sheets are stored without pallets, which makes full use of the available room height without wasting space. In addition, the system is equipped with a weighing device to control the weight of delivered sheets and prevent overloading of the shelves. Management MonoTower is carried out using the operator panel with dedicated Smart WMS Standard software.
The MonoTower sheet automated storage system has enabled significant savings in storage space and provides quick and easy access to the sheets. Operators waste no time searching for material and the loading and unloading of sheets is done from one location with the convenient and safe use of an crane or forklift. For sheets with dimensions of 3000 mm x 1500 mm, we implemented the TransferTower automated storage system.
